How do you convert a fraction to a decimal, and then a decimal to a percent?

Let's look at the rules and then an example.

**To go from decimal to percent simply multiply by 100**

.75 x 100 = 75 %

.50 x 100 = 50 %

**To move from percent back to fraction simply divide the percent by 100 then reduce.**

75% = 75/100 then reduce = 3/4

50% = 50/100 ten reduce = 1/2

Step 1: Write down the decimal over 1,

Step 2: Multiply both numerator and denominator by 10
