Technically a mixed number consists of an integer and a proper fraction.

There are at least two different methods for adding mixed numbers.

The first method consists of adding the fractions and then adding the integers.

Always add the fractions first, and if the denominators are unlike remember to,

- Find the equivalent fractions.
